I recently had the awesome pleasure of teaching meditation at a conference that was held at Anheuser Busch in Jacksonville, Florida.
Corporate meditation and yoga integration seems to becoming more and more trendy in the West, in California and in places like New York.
It is slowly trickling its way into the the cities of the east coast now too.
Which is supper exciting!
Science is backing up the positive and beneficial effects of a consciousness, meditation practice more and more each day. We are on the verge of more research to help prove metaphysical phenomena.
The employers who choose to invest into their employees mental health receive 100 times more productivity and efficiency from them. When your people are happy, they will work with a clear head and not be clouded by discontentment.
There are jobs that need to get done in this world. But that doesn’t mean it has to take away our contentment from the moment. So many of us wander thinking about if our lives were this or that…
What if we had a practice that allowed us to be stable, content and grateful on a consistent basis? We would realize that all we need is right here, right now.
Over 15 million people in the US are suffering consistently from depression. These numbers drastically decrease when we practice anywhere from 5 - 20 minutes of meditation per day.
The results are astounding and… to be honest… I sense that a meditation practice will one day become a requirement within the workplace.
Teaching meditation at this corporate event proved to be one of those level up, career moments for me. I hope this inspires you to bring meditation and yoga into your work/professional environment.
